The new products and additions will debut at the Las Vegas Market at the World Market Center July 29-Aug. 2.
The redesigned 3E adjustable base is targeted to online retailers and big-box stores looking for a carry-away product or to facilitate curbside shipment.
“We’re intentionally launching this initiative with our entry-level product because we believe the convenient, do-it-yourself elements appeal to cost-conscious consumers debating whether to purchase an adjustable base,” said Martin Rawls-Meehan, Reverie president and chief executive officer.
The semi-sectional design option is available in models 7S and 5D. Both are assembled at the company’s U.S. manufacturing plant in Silver Creek, N.Y. Reverie’s default adjustable base design is “deck-on-deck.” A semi-sectional adjustable base resembles a traditional bed base when in the flat position.
The new high-tech mattress protector has pressure sensors and turns any mattress into a sleep-tracking device that is supported by a downloadable application for mobile devices, the company said. Individuals receive nightly reports and a sleep score on how well and how long they slept.
“We envision retailers being able to demonstrate the sleep-quality mattress protector in their showrooms in tandem with adjustable bases to visually map and showcase the benefits of how adjustables can relieve pressure-point pain,” Rawls-Meehan said. “Since this accessory is compatible with any mattress brand, we’re confident it will help our retailers increase their sales tickets while addressing the needs of today’s tech-focused consumer.”
