Keith Brown
American Textile Co., a supplier of mattress protection and pillows under the Aller-Ease and RestRight names, as well as private label brands, has hired industry veteran Keith Brown to fill the position senior vice president of operations.
Most recently, Brown was with Springs Global US Inc., where he implemented productivity improvements, established key global alliances and played product development and merchandising roles. Prior to that, Brown held management positions at Pillowtex and WestPoint Stevens.
“Keith’s leadership in large global organizations is a tremendous asset as we look to the future,” said Lance Ruttenberg, president and chief operating officer of American Textile, which has headquarters in Duquesne, Pa. “Our continued growth hinges on our ability to deliver solutions of significant value across a range of categories to customers and consumers, requiring expert coordination across our expanding global footprint. Keith’s background enables us to move more quickly than ever across operations, product development and merchandising. His arrival marks an exciting new chapter in our story.”
The company, which operates in the United States and South America, is undergoing a major transformation in support of aggressive growth plans for its Asian operation, a news release said.
